About us:
Our partnership started when we married in 2018 in a South African vineyard named Boschendal famous for its “werf”.  This is where it all began! We bought our first property in Aubrey Texas with dreams of homesteading and named it after the place we joined together, The Werf. Since then, we have grown into a sideline apiary and we are passionate about honey bees and the environment surrounding them. We foster a holistic and natural approach to farming, gardening and beekeeping.  We consider beekeeping, the subsequent honey production and the pollination sectors to be renewable and sustainable agribusinesses that are integral to our overall domestic agriculture.

Our Mission:
Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service and public awareness of the honey bee’s plight in modern agriculture. We are committed to protecting bees and their vital role in our ecosystem. Proper management is essential to helping prevent the rapid decline in the honey bee population, which is a concerning global issue that
has an effect on our planet and food supply. We are dedicated in doing our part in raising awareness and educating our community on the importance of beekeeping and preserving habitats for these essential pollinators.
